Synopsis

Best Regards to All (みなに幸あれ), 2023 SHIMOTSU Yuta, 7/10 stars, a nursing student travels to her grandparents’ home in the countryside to experience a series of unfolding horrors. Elegiac portrayal of village life on top of which a horror story is built.

While the feature version introduces broader scope and darker context, it loses the intimate shock and psychological sharpness that made the original so effective. Despite its strong moral concept, uneven development and unanswered questions prevent the film from fully realizing its unsettling potential.
